“Transformation is not read. It is done.”
You will notice the ground shifting under you around Week 5, and again around Week 9. That is by design.
Renewing the Mind — a biblical foundation, how the brain actually changes, and how habits are broken and built.
Regulating the Body — emotional intelligence, stress, the chemistry of joy, and fear turned from captor into counsel.
Restoring the Soul — forgiveness, shame, dreaming again, and the anchoring of the soul that carries all of it.
The first thirty minutes are not a warm-up — they are part of the work.
Unhurried. No agenda, no teaching — this is where the group becomes a group.
Lyrics on screen. One song, sung together.
Last week in three sentences, then the honest question: how did it go?
The week framed, the five days walked through, questions worked aloud, and a landing.
Between meetings: five short readings from the book, one a day, five to eight minutes each — with that day's questions and assignment, answered in writing. Something happens when a vague thought is forced into a sentence, and that is most of what the workbook is for.
Your group will name these in Week 1, and again before Weeks 9 and 10, where the material turns personal.
What is said here stays here.
“Thank you for telling us that” beats advice.
Nobody must answer anything.
The group depends on you.
A word about Weeks 9 and 10: forgiveness and shame are the two weeks people most often go quiet in. If something surfaces that is bigger than a group conversation, tell your leader — that is not a failure of the process, it is the process working.
You will need your own copy of XO ExtraOrdinary to take this course. Every day in the workbook sends you to a specific day's reading in the book, and the questions and assignments assume you have done it. The Big Idea that opens each week reminds you what you read — it does not replace it.
Both editions are the same book, published August 2026 by Gotell Communications USA.
Bring the book, the workbook and a pen. Come to Week 1 having read Day One and written your answers.
